Japanese Nao Hibino reached the last 16 of the Hong Kong 125 Open by winning against Frenchwoman Clara Burel, the second seed, 6-2, 7-6 (5) on Tuesday.
Hibino, ranked No 145, will play the winner of the match between American Emina Bektas and Hungarian Dalma Galfi next.
