Vienna Open: Draper cruises past Darderi to reach quarter-finals

No 7 seed Jack Draper moved into the last eight of the Vienna Open by winning against Italian Luciano Darderi 7-5, 6-1 at the Wiener Stadthalle.
Draper, ranked No 18, will play the winner of the match between Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 3 seed, and Tomas Machac next.
Ahead of his victory, Jack Draper beat Japanese wildcard Kei Nishikori (7-6 (5), 7-5).
Darderi, ranked No 42, defeated Austrian wildcard Dominic Thiem (7-6 (6), 6-2) in the previous round of the Vienna tournament.
