Japan’s Nao Hibino edged out Chinese lucky loser Jia-Jing Lu 6-7 (4), 6-3, 7-5 to move into the second round of the Hong Kong Open at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay on Tuesday.
Hibino, ranked No 159, will face Chinese Yuan Yue, the No 6 seed, next.
