Alert – Paris Masters: Zverev advances to final with win over Rune
The German faced a tough test against the Dane, but proved too solid

German Alexander Zverev, the No 3 seed, won against Dane Holger Rune, the No 13 seed, 6-3, 7-6 (4) to move into the final of Paris Masters at the Accor Arena on Saturday.
Zverev, ranked No 3, will play the winner of the match between Russian Karen Khachanov and Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 15 seed, next.
The German beat Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor (7-6 (2), 6-3), Frenchman Arthur Fils (6-4, 3-6, 6-3) and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 10 seed (7-5, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Rune, ranked No 13, won against Italian Matteo Arnaldi (6-4, 6-4), Kazakh Alexander Bublik (6-4, 6-2), French lucky loser Arthur Cazaux (3-6, 6-3, 6-4) and Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 9 seed (6-4, 4-6, 7-5).
