Eye of the Coach #97: Sinner is Djokovic 2.0
The Frenchman breaks down what makes Jannik Sinner special
November 23, 2024
Patrick Mouratoglou has said that Jannik Sinner has all the on-court qualities of Novak Djokovic‘s game, but hits the ball earlier, and moves into the net more than the Serbian legend.
In the latest episode of Eye of the Coach, Mouratoglou explains that, whilst Carlos Alcaraz may be able to play at a higher level and possesses more weapons than the Italian, it is Jannik Sinner’s ability to stay consistent that has lifted him to the world No 1 ranking.
The Frenchman goes on to say:
“You have the guys who are not missing and the guys who have fire in their racket, and Sinner has both.”
