Adelaide Open: Keys moves into semi-finals

American Madison Keys beat Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 3 seed, 6-1, 6-3 to move into the last four of the Adelaide Open at the Memorial Drive Tennis Park on Thursday.
Keys, ranked No 20, will face Russian Liudmila Samsonova next.
In the previous rounds of the Adelaide tournament, the American won against Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia (6-2, 6-1) and Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, the No 8 seed (3-6, 6-4, 6-3).
Kasatkina, ranked No 9, defeated Australian wildcard Olivia Gadecki (6-2, 6-3) and Australian wildcard Emerson Jones (7-5, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
