Upper Austria Ladies: Yastremska captures final 8 games to roll into semi-finals

Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 5 seed, beat Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 3 seed, 7-5, 6-0 to move into the last 4 of the Upper Austria Ladies at the TipsArena in Linz on Friday.
Yastremska, ranked No 72, will face the winner of the match between Dane Clara Tauson, the No 8 seed, and Russian Anna Blinkova next.
When looking at the statistics, the points won on each players’ second serve stands out. Yastremska won an impressive 75 percent, whereas her Greek opponent was on a more disappointing 22 percent.
In the previous rounds of the Linz tournament, the Ukrainian won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti (7-6 (6), 7-5) and Croat qualifier Antonia Ruzic (7-5, 6-1).
Sakkari, ranked No 31, won against Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova (6-3, 6-2) in the previous round of the Linz tournament.
