Qatar Open: Jabeur beats Zheng to book spot in last 16

Tunisian Ons Jabeur defeated Chinese Qinwen Zheng, the No 7 seed, 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Qatar Open at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Tuesday afternoon.

Jabeur, ranked No 35, will play wildcard Sofia Kenin next.

The Tunisian won against American McCartney Kessler (6-2, 6-0) in the previous round of the Qatar tournament.
