Marseille Open: Medvedev cruises past Struff to ease into semi-finals

Russian Daniil Medvedev, the top seed, won against German Jan-Lennard Struff 6-3, 6-2 to reach the semi-finals of the Marseille Open at the Palais des sports.
Medvedev, ranked No 8, will face the winner of the match between Serb Hamad Medjedovic and German Daniel Altmaier next.
The Russian beat French qualifier Pierre-Hugues Herbert (6-2, 6-4) in the previous round of the Marseille tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Struff, ranked No 46, defeated French lucky loser Manuel Guinard (7-5, 7-6 (4)) and edged out French qualifier Hugo Grenier (6-4, 5-7, 6-4).
