Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet reached the quarter-finals of the Megasaray Hotels Open 1 by winning against Slovenian qualifier Tamara Zidansek 6-4, 6-3 on Thursday afternoon.
Paquet, ranked No 121, will play Frenchwoman Clara Burel next.
Ahead of her victory, the Frenchwoman beat Colombian Emiliana Arango, the top seed (3-6, 7-5, 6-2).
Zidansek, ranked No 170, edged out German qualifier Noma Noha Akugue (2-6, 6-3, 6-4) in the previous round.
