Miami Masters: Machac moves into third round

No 20 seed Tomas Machac moved into the third round of the Miami Masters by winning against Italian Matteo Arnaldi 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday.

Machac, ranked No 21, will play the winner of the match between Dane Holger Rune, the No 11 seed, and American Reilly Opelka next.

Arnaldi, ranked No 35, beat Chinese wildcard Yibing Wu (7-6 (3), 4-6, 6-3) in the previous round of the Miami Open.
