Puerto Vallarta Open: Watson upsets 6th seed Sorribes Tormo to reach quarter-finals
The Brit will face Canadian Marina Stakusic for a spot in the semi-finals

Great Britain’s Heather Watson won against Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo, the No 6 seed, 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Puerto Vallarta Open on Thursday.
Watson, ranked No 206, will play Canadian Marina Stakusic next.
In the previous round, the Brit beat American Whitney Osuigwe (6-0, 6-3).
Sorribes Tormo, ranked No 87, defeated Georgian qualifier Oksana Kalashnikova (6-3, 6-1) in the first round.
