Croat qualifier Lea Boskovic beat Romanian qualifier Irina Bara 6-4, 6-4 to reach the second round of the Bogota Open at the Country Club Bogota on Tuesday.
Boskovic, ranked No 225, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed, and Swiss Leonie Kung next.
