Charleston Open: Kasatkina brushes aside Davis to book spot in last 16

Australian Daria Kasatkina, the No 5 seed, reached the last 16 of the Charleston Open by winning against American wildcard Lauren Davis 6-1, 6-1 at the Family Circle Tennis Center.
Kasatkina, ranked No 12, will play the winner of the match between American Sofia Kenin and Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 17 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Charleston tournament, Davis, ranked No 211, defeated qualifier Jamie Loeb (3-6, 6-1, 6-3).
