Lucky loser Jacob Fearnley moved into the second round of the Barcelona Open by defeating Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena 6-1, 7-5 at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Monday.
Fearnley, ranked No 74, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Australian Alex de Minaur, the No 5 seed, next.
