Argentinian Mariano Navone moved into the second round of the Munich Open by edging out Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 3 seed, 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (3) at the MTTC Iphitos complex on Tuesday.
Navone, ranked No 70, will face Belgian David Goffin next.
