Munich Open: Cerundolo dispatches Goffin to make last 4

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 5 seed, reached the last four of the Munich Open by winning against Belgian David Goffin 6-2, 6-4 at the MTTC Iphitos complex on Friday.
Cerundolo, ranked No 22, will face the winner of the match between Italian Luciano Darderi and American Ben Shelton, the second seed, next.
In the previous rounds of the Munich tournament, the Argentinian beat German Jan-Lennard Struff (6-0, 6-2) and Kazakh lucky loser Alexander Shevchenko (6-3, 6-2).
Goffin, ranked No 52, edged out lucky loser Billy Harris (6-2, 6-7 (2), 6-4) and won against Argentinian Mariano Navone (0-6, 7-5, 6-1) earlier in the tournament.
