Madrid Masters: Etcheverry books spot in second round, faces Musetti next

Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry edged out Serb Hamad Medjedovic 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Madrid Masters at the Caja Mágica on Thursday.

Etcheverry, ranked No 51, will play No 10 seed Lorenzo Musetti next.
