No 3 seed Katerina Siniakova moved into the last 16 of the Catalonia Open by winning against Spaniard Andrea Lazaro Garcia 7-5, 6-2 on Monday afternoon.
Siniakova, ranked No 57, will play the winner of the match between Australian Storm Hunter and Spanish qualifier Ruth Roura Llaverias next.
