No 3 seed Katerina Siniakova advanced to the last eight of the Catalonia Open by winning against Spanish qualifier Ruth Roura Llaverias 6-1, 6-1 on Wednesday.
Siniakova, ranked No 57, will face the winner of the match between Swiss Rebeka Masarova and Mexican Renata Zarazua, the No 5 seed, next.
