Djokovic to play Geneva in search for form ahead of Roland-Garros

Novak Djokovic is to play in Geneva for the second year in a row as he tries to rediscover top form in time for Roland-Garros.

The 24-time Grand Slam winner received a wildcard into the May 17-24 event, having lost both his matches on clay this year, in Monte-Carlo and Madrid.

Djokovic reached the semi-finals in Geneva last year before pulling out of Roland-Garros before his quarter-final due to injury.

The Serbian, who turns 38 later this month, has endured an inconsistent season. He reached the semi-finals at the Australian Open, before pulling out through injury in his clash with Alexander Zverev and made the final in Miami.

But early losses in Monte-Carlo and Madrid left him openly talking about motivation.
