Rome Masters: Cerundolo into third round

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 17 seed, won against Chilean Nicolas Jarry 7-6 (4), 6-3 to move into the third round of the Rome Masters at the Foro Italico in Roma on Saturday.

Cerundolo, ranked No 18, will play Austrian qualifier Sebastian Ofner next.

Jarry, ranked No 53, defeated Frenchman Hugo Gaston (7-6 (4), 6-4) in the previous round of the Italian Open.
