Hamburg Open: Lehecka upsets Cerundolo to make last eight

Jiri Lehecka moved into the quarter-finals of the Hamburg Open by beating Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 4 seed, 7-5, 6-2 at Tennis Stadion on Wednesday.
Lehecka, ranked No 37, will play the winner of the match between Camilo Ugo Carabelli and Tomas Martin Etcheverry next.
Jiri Lehecka won against Croat qualifier Borna Gojo (6-4, 3-6, 6-2) in the previous round of the Hamburg tournament.
In the previous round of the Hamburg tournament, Cerundolo, ranked No 18, won against Spaniard Pedro Martinez Portero (6-2, 6-3).
