Colombian Camila Osorio, the second seed, moved into the last four of the Rabat Open by winning against American Maria Mateas 6-3, 6-1 at Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc.
Osorio, ranked No 55, will play the winner of the match between Romanian Jaqueline Cristian and Latvian wildcard Anastasija Sevastova next.
The Colombian beat Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto (2-6, 6-3, 6-2) and Russian Kamilla Rakhimova (4-6, 6-2, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Rabat tournament, Mateas, ranked No 243, defeated qualifier Elizabeth Mandlik (6-3, 6-4) and Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus (6-4, 6-2).
