Rabat Open: Cristian beats Sevastova to book spot in semi-finals

Romanian Jaqueline Cristian won against Latvian wildcard Anastasija Sevastova 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the last four of the Rabat Open at Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc.
Cristian, ranked No 74, will play Colombian Camila Osorio, the second seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Romanian defeated Ukrainian wildcard Yelyzaveta Kotliar (6-3, 6-1) and Spaniard Aliona Bolsova (7-6 (1), 7-6 (1)).
Anastasija Sevastova edged out Moroccan wildcard Yasmine Kabbaj (5-7, 6-4, 7-5) and won against Zeynep Sonmez (6-3, 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Rabat tournament.
