Djokovic swats aside Norrie to record 100th Roland-Garros win and reach quarter-finals
The Serb beat Norrie 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 to move into a 16th consecutive Roland-Garros quarter-final

Novak Djokovic breezed past Cameron Norrie, beating the Briton 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 to record a milestone 100th singles match win at Roland-Garros.
The Serb became only the second man behind Rafael Nadal to record 100 singles wins at the clay-court Grand Slam, as he reached his scarcely believable 16th consecutive quarter-final match in Paris.
At 38 years old, Djokovic is also the oldest Roland-Garros quarter-finalist since 197 and he extends his unbeaten record in French Open fourth-round matches to 19-0.
“I feel good, I expect each day to play better and better. I’ve played 12 really good, solid sets so far and everything is looking good,” Djokovic said after the match.
“It’s a good number,” continued the Serb when asked about reaching 100 wins at Roland-Garros.
Djokovic : “Happy number”
“A happy number for me, but the 101st victory is the most important for me now.
“I’m happy to add to the history of this court which has given me so much and I would like to hope there will be another victory for me in a couple of days.”
Norrie never posed much of a threat to the 24-time Grand Slam champion, who eased through in straight sets to set up a captivating meeting against last year’s runner-up Alexander Zverev in the last eight.
