Medvedev bounces back in Halle

Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 3 seed, moved into the second round of the Halle Open by beating German wildcard Daniel Altmaier 6-3, 6-3 at the Owl Arena/Gerry-Weber-Stadion on Monday.
The Russian Daniil Medvedev has now collected at least 20 ATP Tour wins in all the last 9 seasons.
Medvedev, ranked No 11, will face the winner of the match between Quentin Halys and qualifier Benjamin Bonzi next.
