No 7 seed Tomas Machac moved into the quarter-finals of the Halle Open by beating Hungarian Fabian Marozsan 6-2, 6-3 at the Owl Arena/Gerry-Weber-Stadion on Thursday.
Machac, ranked No 23, will face the winner of the match between Italian Jannik Sinner, the top seed, and Kazakh Alexander Bublik next.
