Second seed Barbora Krejcikova edged out wildcard Jodie Burrage 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (3) to advance to the last eight of the Eastbourne Open at the Devonshire Park Lawn Club on Wednesday.
Krejcikova, ranked No 17, will play the winner of the match between Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the No 8 seed, and French qualifier Varvara Gracheva next.
Barbora Krejcikova edged out wildcard Harriet Dart (6-3, 6-7 (4), 7-5) in the previous round of the Eastbourne tournament.
In the previous round of the Eastbourne tournament, Burrage, ranked No 164, beat Japanese Moyuka Uchijima (6-3, 6-2).
