Bad Homburg Open: Noskova moves into last eight

Linda Noskova edged out Croat Donna Vekic 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 to move into the last eight of the Bad Homburg Open at the Bad Homburg vor der Höhe on Wednesday evening.
Noskova, ranked No 30, will face the winner of the match between Russian Mirra Andreeva, the No 3 seed, and Dane Clara Tauson next.
Ahead of her victory, Linda Noskova won against Australian qualifier Ajla Tomljanovic (6-3, 6-2).
Vekic, ranked No 22, defeated Russian Diana Shnaider, the No 6 seed (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round of the Bad Homburg tournament.
