Wimbledon: Qualifier Parry moves into third round, beats 12th seed Shnaider

French qualifier Diane Parry advanced to the third round of Wimbledon by winning against Russian Diana Shnaider, the No 12 seed, 6-4, 6-1 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday evening.
Parry, ranked No 118, will face Sonay Kartal next.
In the previous round of The Championships, the 22-year-old Frenchman beat Croat qualifier Petra Martic (4-6, 6-3, 6-2).
Shnaider, ranked No 15, defeated Japanese Moyuka Uchijima (7-6 (5), 6-3) in the previous round of The Championships.
