Wimbledon: Dimitrov reaches third round

Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 19 seed, edged out Frenchman Corentin Moutet 7-5, 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 to move into the third round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday afternoon.

Dimitrov, ranked No 21, will play the winner of the match between Austrian Sebastian Ofner and American Tommy Paul, the No 13 seed, next.

The 34-year-old Bulgarian won against Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka (6-2, 6-3, 6-4) ahead of his victory.

In the previous round of The Championships, Moutet, ranked No 69, defeated Argentinian Francisco Comesana (6-4, 6-4, 6-2).
