No 30 seed Linda Noskova advanced to the last 16 of Wimbledon by beating Russian Kamilla Rakhimova 7-6 (6), 7-5 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Noskova, ranked No 27, will play American Amanda Anisimova, the No 13 seed, next.
Linda Noskova won against American Bernarda Pera (6-2, 6-4) and German Eva Lys (6-2, 2-6, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of The Championships, Rakhimova, ranked No 80, won against Japanese Aoi Ito (5-7, 6-3, 6-2) and edged out Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 4 seed (4-6, 6-4, 6-4).
