Citi Open: Svajda makes second round, winning his first match at Tour level in 2025
Zachary Svajda beat Miomir Kecmanovic 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 on Tuesday evening

American qualifier Zachary Svajda defeated Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Citi Open at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Washington on Tuesday.
Svajda, who won the Newport Challenger last week, quickly adjusted to hard court conditions, securing his first main draw victory at Tour level in 2025.
The 22-year-old will face Jiri Lehecka next.
