US Open: Swiatek/ Ruud qualify for mixed doubles semi-finals
Ruud and Swiatek drop only six games in two matches to make the last four

The all-European duo of Iga Swiatek (Poland) and Casper Ruud (Norway) are through to the semi-finals of the US Open mixed doubles event in New York after scoring back-to-back straight sets wins in New York on Tuesday.
Swiatek/ Ruud, seeded third in the event, started the day with a 4-1, 4-2 win over the American duo of Madison Keys and Frances Tiafoe.
They then came back to meet the duo of Caty McNally and Lorenzo Musetti by the same scoreline to punch their ticket into the last four.
McNally and Musetti had defeated Naomi Osaka and Gael Monfils 5-3, 4-2 in the first round of the 16-team competition.
