Ningbo Open: Fourth final of the season for Alexandrova

No 4 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova won against No 7 seed Diana Shnaider 6-3, 6-4 to move into the final of the Ningbo Open at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Saturday.
Alexandrova, ranked No 10, will face Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 3 seed, next.
Ekaterina Alexandrova defeated American McCartney Kessler (6-3, 6-3) and Chinese wildcard Yue Yuan (6-3, 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Ningbo tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Shnaider, ranked No 19, beat Chinese wildcard Lin Zhu (2-6, 6-3, 6-1), Czech Karolina Muchova (2-6, 6-1, 6-2) and Chinese wildcard Xiyu Wang (7-5, 6-3).
