Italian Lorenzo Sonego won against Spaniard Carlos Taberner 6-4, 6-0, 6-3 to reach the 6 second round of the Australian Open on Tuesday night.
Sonego, ranked No 40, will face the winner of the match between Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 5 seed, and Belgian Raphael Collignon next.
