Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto moved into the second round of the Poland Open by winning against Pole wildcard Martyna Kubka 6-2, 6-3 at Legia Tenis & Golf in Warsaw on Wednesday afternoon.
Cocciaretto, ranked No 105, will face Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 5 seed, next.
