Swiss Belinda Bencic, the second seed, beat qualifier Katie Boulter 6-4, 6-7 (2), 6-3 to reach the last eight of the Tallinn Open at the Forus Tennis Centre on Wednesday night.
Bencic, ranked No 14, will face the winner of the match between Chinese Shuai Zhang, the No 8 seed, and Croat Donna Vekic next.
The Swiss won against Estonian wildcard Elena Malygina (6-0, 6-2) in the previous round. Boulter, ranked No 145, won against Romanian Jaqueline Cristian (6-3, 6-1).
