Rouen Open: Zanevska makes quarter-finals
Maryna Zanevska won against Elsa Jacquemot 7-6 (9), 6-4 on Thursday evening. She’ll face American qualifier Catherine McNally in the next round
Belgian Maryna Zanevska, the No 7 seed, won against French wildcard Elsa Jacquemot 7-6 (9), 6-4 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Rouen Open at Kindarena on Thursday evening.
Zanevska, ranked No 85, will play American qualifier Caty McNally next.
In the previous round, the Belgian edged out Italian Sara Errani (7-5, 6-7 (4), 7-5). Jacquemot, ranked No 196, beat Harmony Tan (7-6 (4), 6-3) in the first round.
