Shuai Zhang won against Sophie Chang 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday evening and will face Swede Rebecca Peterson in the next round

Chinese Shuai Zhang, the top seed, beat American Sophie Chang 6-4, 6-4 to move into the last 8 of the Crèdit Andorrà Open on Thursday evening.
Zhang, ranked No 24, will play Swede Rebecca Peterson next.
In the previous round, the 33-year-old Chinese won against Serb wildcard Nina Stojanovic (6-1, 6-4).
Chang, ranked No 234, won against Dutchwoman Bibiane Schoofs (6-3, 7-5) in the previous round.
