Football fan Juan Martin del Potro has been celebrating Argentina’s win at the 2022 World Cup.
The Argentine posted videos and photos across his social media platforms – including a picture of the squad, led by the talismanic Lionel Messi, lifting the trophy.
“Congratulations, Leo! Congratulations, team! Thank you for this great joy you have given us! The photo that everyone in the world needs to see!” he captioned it (in Spanish).
He had been posting messages on Twitter throughout the match as well as a short video of himself in an Argentina replica shirt – and it follows a joke he made on social media last week, suggesting he would try to play the 2023 US Open if Argentina did indeed become world champions.
