Cordoba Open: Coria into quarter-finals

Argentinian Federico Coria, the No 6 seed, advanced to the last eight of the Cordoba Open when Italian Marco Cecchinato retired at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes on Thursday.
Coria, ranked No 67, led 6-3, 3-1 when Cecchinato, ranked No 93, pulled out at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes.
The Argentinian will face the winner of the match between qualifier Federico Delbonis and second seed Francisco Cerundolo next.
Federico Coria beat Brazilian Thiago Monteiro (6-7 (5), 6-1, 6-2) in the previous round of the Cordoba tournament.
The Italian won against Argentinian Facundo Bagnis (6-2, 7-6 (4)).
