Qatar Open: Kwon books spot in second round
SoonWoo Kwon edged out Abedallah Shelbayh 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 on Tuesday evening and will face Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 7 seed, in the next round

SoonWoo Kwon moved into the second round of the Qatar Open by edging out Jordanian wildcard Abedallah Shelbayh 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Tuesday evening.
Kwon, ranked No 68, will face Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 7 seed, next.
