Russian Anna Blinkova won against American wildcard Ann Li 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Indian Wells at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Wednesday.
Blinkova, ranked No 69, will face No 11 seed Veronika Kudermetova next.
