Indian Wells: Wildcard Navarro sets up Fernandez clash in second round
The American defeated countrywoman Caty McNally 1-6, 6-1, 6-1 in the first round on Thursday

Wildcard Emma Navarro won against wildcard Caty McNally 1-6, 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells on Thursday night.
Navarro, ranked No 128 and a former NCAA champion, will play No 30 seed and former US Open runner-up Leylah Fernandez next.
