Miami Masters: Davidovich Fokina books spot in third round
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina beat Brandon Nakashima 6-4, 7-6 (5) on Friday night and will face American Tommy Paul, the No 16 seed, in the next round

Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 20 seed, reached the third round of the Miami Masters by winning against American Brandon Nakashima 6-4, 7-6 (5) at the Hard Rock Stadium on Friday night.
Davidovich Fokina, ranked No 25, will face American Tommy Paul, the No 16 seed, next.
Nakashima, ranked No 45, beat German Oscar Otte (7-6 (3), 6-3) in the previous round of the Miami Open.
