Miami Masters: Auger-Aliassime eliminated by F. Cerundolo !
Francisco Cerundolo beat Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-2, 7-5 on Monday, making the bottom half of the Miami draw even more wide open.

Following Casper Ruud’s loss on Sunday to Botic van de Zandschulp, another one of the biggest upsets of the 2023 Miami Open on the men’s side took place on Monday. Argentinia’s Francisco Cerundolo, the No 25 seed, moved into the last 16 by defeating Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 5 seed, 6-2, 7-5 during third-round action.
Cerundolo, ranked No 31, will next face the winner of the match between Italian Lorenzo Sonego and American Frances Tiafoe, the No 12 seed.
