San Luis Potosi Open: Errani through to final
Sara Errani defeated Kaja Juvan 1-6, 6-4, 6-2
Italian Sara Errani, the No 7 seed, defeated Slovenian Kaja Juvan 1-6, 6-4, 6-2 to move into the final of the San Luis Potosi Open on Saurday.
Errani, ranked No 99, will face the winner of the match between Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the top seed, and Russian Elina Avanesyan next.
Ahead of her victory, the 35-year-old Italian won against Swiss Ylena In-Albon (6-3, 6-2), Spaniard Aliona Bolsova (6-2, 6-2) and German Tatjana Maria, the second seed (6-2, 6-1).
Juvan, ranked No 143, beat Mexican wildcard Renata Zarazua (4-6, 7-5, 7-5), Hungarian Dalma Galfi, the No 3 seed (6-3, 6-3) and Brazilian Laura Pigossi, the No 8 seed (4-6, 6-3, 6-4) in the previous rounds.
