Marrakech Open: Frenchman Muller upsets Musetti to reach maiden ATP Tour semi-final
Alexandre Muller edged out Lorenzo Musetti 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 on Friday evening. He’ll face the winner of the match between Australian Christopher O’Connell and Russian Pavel Kotov in the next round

Frenchman Alexandre Muller edged out Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the top seed, 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 to move into the semi-finals of the Marrakech Open at the Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Friday evening.
Muller, ranked No 126, will play the winner of the match between Australian Christopher O’Connell and Russian Pavel Kotov next.
Ahead of his victory, the Frenchman beat No 6 seed Richard Gasquet (6-4, 6-4) and Italian Francesco Passaro (6-4, 6-4).
Musetti, ranked No 21, won against Frenchman Hugo Gaston (6-2, 6-3) in the previous round.
